My April Julep Maven Box

This month's Julep Maven box theme was Relax & Remix. "Spring is in full swing and this month’s collection is redefining R&R. Rejuvenate with NEW, luxuriously soft shades of Feels Like Velvet Full-Coverage Eye Shadow Duo. Pop on our paradise-inspired polishes for that getaway feeling, and this season’s staycation is officially on." Here's what I received:

- Feels Like Velvet Full-Coverage Eyeshadow Duo in Silk & Cashmere $20
- 2 Nail Polishes ($14/each)
- Add-On: Ta Da! Quick Dry Drops $18
- Extra: Nail Polish

Their drying drops are one of my faves and finally I could re-stock!

"A versatile eyeshadow duo with a velvety, weightless formula that glides on with full-coverage pigmentation in one swipe, blends effortlessly, and stays vibrant with all-day wearability." I'm not a big eyeshadow gal but these new eyeshadow duo palettes looked gorgeous. I selected Silk & Cashmere as it looked like it would be the best option for my eye color. Glad I did! The colors are described as chai and cinder - or more like a brownish purple and dark brown. I wore it for my makeup look for my friend's birthday party.

Josie is described as "juicy apricot créme." I've been having trouble finding the right mango type color (or apricot) that doesn't wash out my pale skin. Sadly will be passing this one on.

Rose is self explanatory. It was a free bonus in my box. Really pretty cherry type red that I'll be sure to rock this season.

Liesl is described as a "cloudless blue crème" which is fun but pretty accurate. It's a gorgeous sky blue and I'll be rocking it while trying to hope for spring's arrival.

What did you receive in your Julep Maven box?
