@draperjames x @Birchbox

This month Birchbox had a curated box from Reese Witherspoon's lifestyle site, Draper James. "In honor of Women's History Month... curate a box we're calling Pretty Mighty. It may look dainty, but inside you'll find some of my favorite powerful, high-performing products perfect for powerful women - like you." Here's what was inside:

Davines OI Shampoo & Conditioner (.4 fl oz/2.5 fl oz $15) and All in One Milk (1.69 fl oz $17) | R+Co Dallas Thickening Spray (1.7 fl oz/8.5 fl oz $28) | Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Silky Cream Normal to Dry Skin (1 oz/1.6 oz $48) | ARROW Boost Color Enhancing Lip Balm $14 | Benefit POREfessional Face Primer (.1 fl oz/ .75 fl oz $31)

Love Davines products and just ran out of my some previous Birchbox samples so it was good timing! I've received the All in One Milk spray in a previous Birchbox and enjoyed it. I wouldn't use all 3 together on my hair as it would weigh it down but individually they make your hair super soft.

"DALLAS is the quintessential step to the mega blow-dry: It gives you the option of volume at the roots and control at the ends, as well as body and shine." Sounds delightful. There were a lot of hair products in this box so going to take some time to review them so stay tuned for my thoughts on this.

"Luxurious silky cream plumps thirsty skin with precious moisture—and keeps it there—for all-day hydration. Shields skin from the dehydrating effects of daily thermic shocks that can leave it looking dry and weathered: sudden temperature changes, indoor and outdoor pollutants and environmental stress. Quenches skin with Organic leaf of life extract—a succulent plant that enhances the skin’s ability to retain precious moisture—leaving it comfortable, radiant and perfectly hydrated." Got about 2 uses out of this sample. I enjoyed what I saw so far. I layered it under my nighttime moisturizer.

You may also remember in my last box that I received a broken sample. LAQA & Co reached out and helped me get a replacement (unlike Birchbox). So thought I'd share the results. It glides on nicely and not drying. The color is a little richer than I prefer. Supposedly you can build the color up but it comes out pretty dark right away.

I've reviewed this ARROW lip balm before. I enjoyed it and always good to keep it in your bag. I'm already a fan of Benefit's POREfessional primer so was happy to get a sample in this box. Stay tuned for a comparison review!

What did you receive in your box?
