Mini @elfcosmetics Haul + Reviews
e.l.f. with the intention of restocking up on my favorite nail polish remover pads only to find that they were no longer on the website. So I browsed the new releases and came across some intriguing products and went down the rabbit hole. Here's what I ended up with:
Beautifully Precise Airbrush Blender $10 & Beautifully Precise Multi Blender Massager $12 - I have the black professional line of brushes but after a few years they were starting to detach from the handle so was intrigued by these new ones. I was interested in using the smaller one - Airbrush Blender - to apply my powder. Not quite getting the pro of this one as it can apply a lot of product on without easily distributing it on your face. The curved brush - Multi Blender Massager - looked super cool. I wanted to try it with sweeping powder off after baking. Apparently you can also use it to apply liquid makeup so I may give that a try.
Prep & Hydrate Balm $8 - With winter in full effect, I was intrigued by the moisturizing aspect of this balm for makeup prep. I have to say did not see the pro of this stick. It didn't help makeup stay on, my skin didn't feel "dewy." Was pretty underwhelmed.
High Definition Powder $6 - I thought I was purchasing a non-white translucent setting powder but apparently this one is called "shimmer" so it's very shimmery. A bit of a disappointment. I've been trying to apply with the Airbrush Blender brush but haven't found the perfect system. So far underwhelmed.
Hydrating Water Sheet Mask $3 - This was the product that drove my interest as my skin has been particularly dry with this weather. A $3 mask you can only have so much hope. I enjoyed it and it helped keep my skin moisturized right before bed. I'd repurchase.
Intense Ink Eyeliner $3 & Baked Eyeshadow Palette $10 - These were the free gift with purchase. Thankfully! This eyeshadow palette was so unimpressive. Could barely even swatch the colors as the powder was so condensed then when you push a little it begins to crack so not sure how you're even supposed to use these shadows.
