My December Beauty Product Favorites (And Not So Favorite)

It's the end of the month (and year!) so time to wrap up my favorite and not so favorite beauty products. The weather was up and down with 60 degree weather, rain, and 10 degree blistering cold. Here's what I loved and not so much this month:

December Beauty Product Favorites
Madam C.J. Walker Pre-Wash Protein Treatment $32 - My hair has been a little dried out with this weather and so hair masks are always a necessity. However, I have the issue of having hair that gets weighed down by most hair treatments. I got a sample of this in my Sephora haul a few months ago and finally busted it out. FINALLY a pre-treatment that didn't weigh down my hair. Really loved the results and may need to purchase a full size to survive the winter.

Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate $46 - I was shopping here for my brother and his girlfriend. I snagged some samples of this oil for myself and have quickly run through them. Need to purchase the new one!

NYX Invincible Fullest Coverage Foundation $12 - They opened a brick-and-mortar NYX store by my office so I had to pop in. And of course I bought some things... including this foundation. I went on a BB cream binge and the downside is they're light coverage. Sometimes you need more coverage so this foundation gets the job done with a lightweight feel. They also have 20 shades so I was actually 3 shades in! Not just the lightest.
Rituals Ultra Calming Facial Toner $15 - A new Rituals store opened up near my old office so I popped in. My coworker picked up a few holiday gifts and I was in need of a toner so I picked this one up. Unfortunately I wasn't very impressed. I need to pick up my favorite Arcona toner.

e.l.f. Illuminating Eye Cream $10 - Ever since I ran out of my Estee Lauder under eye serum I've been sampling a few options including this e.l.f. one. I finished it up and didn't notice any results. I think you can skip this.

What products did you love this month?
