6 All-Natural Deodorants I Tried

Two tasks I'm currently struggling with are - identifying a great under eye cream and finding a vegan friendly deodorant that ACTUALLY works. I've been testing and testing (much to the delight of my coworkers I'm sure). After trying quite a few I thought I'd round up my report. Most were mixed but did spot two that were potential front runners:
Pacifica Underarm Deodorant Wipes with Coconut Milk & Essential Oils $9 - Original reviews here. Great for after the gym, freshen up throughout the day. I love the smell of their wipes!

Birchbox's ARROW PROTECT Aluminum-Free Deodorant $9 - Tested this during my trip to London & Paris. It was the longest lasting of the six I have tried. I am not in love with the smell but I'll take that small factor. It also glides on clear which is a strong plus. It is also exclusive through Birchbox so getting a refill is going to be annoying.

Yves Rocher 24HR Anti-Perspirant in Lavender $7 - Original review here. Bottom line: One of my least favorites. It rolls on white and heavily so it drips down your arm. Not in love with the faux lavender smell either.

Lavanila The Healthy Deodorant in Vanilla Grapefruit $10 - With a name like that, I was intrigued! Sadly this was my least favorite as it did little to help odor and went on chalky white.

Honest Co® Deodorant in Lavender Vanilla $8.95 - I spotted this in Whole Foods and was curious as it was the first spray deodorant I had seen (besides the aluminum drugstore ones) and there is so much hype around The Honest Co that I wanted to give it a try. The word "refreshing" definitely comes to mind as the spray makes me jolt lol nothing like a cold mist on your armpits to wake you up. You may have also noticed a pattern of lavender in my purchases as that is one of my favorite smells and this one is more pleasant than the others. But it is definitely more like Pacifica's wipes in that it is a refresher rather than an all day option.

Schmidt's Deodorant Jar $8.99 - Another one I picked up at Whole Foods. When you venture into organic deodorant land you stumble across some interesting application methods... such as a tiny jar with a spatula. I was intrigued about the difference of this "paste" version compared to a stick or spray. I must say this was the winner for me (out of all 6). It lasted the longest, since I got the fragrance-free option there was no odd odor, it is white but didn't rub off on my clothes. My downside is the application process - you scoop it up with the spatula then rub it in your hands to make it soft enough to apply. You really get up close and personal with your pits and makes it hard to apply when you have a heavy sweater on. I might try the stick next to see if it is still the same results as the jar version. But most impressed with this one!

Have you made the switch to organic deodorant? Which are your favorites?
