My June Beauty Product Favorites (And Not So Favorite)

Where has the summer gone?! Today is the last day of June so it's time to round-up my favorite and not so favorite products I tried this month. Summer is in full swing here in New York City with temperatures breaking 90 degrees so it's time to switch up your beauty routine. Let's start with the favorites:

June Beauty Product Favorties
Glossier Boy Brow $16 - Definitely one of the products that lived up to the hype. Review here.

you are AMAZING Smooth It Mango Papaya Exfoliating Body Scrub & Wash $3.99 - "Imagine yourself in the tropics with this delectable fruity scent. Mango and papaya meld together for an exotically sweet experience." Love me a tropical fruit shower product. This one gently exfoliates while also foaming up like a body wash. A great, light scrub option in the summer with a refreshing smell.

Hourglass Ambient® Light Correcting Primer in Mood Light $44 - This was a VIB add-on during a recent Sephora purchase. I was so impressed with how it even my skin toned that I didn't wear foundation with it. It made my skin look flawless and even. May repurchase once I run out of my sample.

Drunk Elephant B-Hydra™ Intensive Hydration Gel $52 - Drunk Elephant has been one of the vegan friendly brands I've been wanting to try. I got a sample of this hydration gel in Sephora's Naturals samples bag. It definitely helped seal in moisture all day. Not sure I'm willing to splurge on a full-size but definitely would try a travel size.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in 011 Creamy Natural $4 - During a recent Harmon haul I picked this up after seeing so many good reviews. So impressed! I use it every workday (rarely wear makeup on the weekends) as a final step to set my makeup.

June Beauty Fails
Rimmel Wonder’lash Mascara with Argan Oil Waterproof $8 - Had high hopes but it made my lashes thin. I like big, voluminous lashes so this is not a mascara I'd repurchase.

Wet 'n Wild MegaGlo™ Illuminating Palette in 320 Catwalk Pink $4.99 - I picked this up because I love Wet n' Wild's bronzer but none of the colors really worked for my skintone. They were too shiny for my taste. I prefer a glow style than glistening.

What products did you enjoy this month?
