One last review before I go! The Body Shop kindly sent me their new Shade Adjusting Drops. I honestly didn't know that The Body Shop did makeup products so was interested to see the results. As a pale girl, I find myself often needing to lightening makeup to better match my skin so this was right up my alley!
|Looks like a makeup murder scene|
I mixed it with my Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25hr Foundation with Comfort Serum, which I enjoyed the results but found this shade too dark for me. Not sure if it was the bottle I received or what, but I had trouble with the dropper. I pushed the rubber top but found that it would dispense properly so found it better to just pour it out. I added about 1 drops worth into a nickel size of foundation. Always start with a smaller amount and add more lightening drops if you need it. It definitely helped bring it down a shade.
I really liked the results and now I can enjoy this foundation more. It was a bit of a bummer about the dropper though. They also sent their Darkening one but I never have that issue so I passed it along to my friend. She's taking the trip with me so hopefully she can share her thoughts on my Snapchat while we're traveling.
Would I purchase? I would test some drugstore dupes before weighing whether or not to spend $20.
Have you tried a lightening product before?
