My March Beauty Product Favorites (And Not So Favorite)

Although Spring officially kicked off and tourists are flooding the New York City streets during their spring breaks, we are not feeling the spring weather. We get teased with 70 degrees here and there but for the most part it is still in the 40s. So my beauty routine has to maintain heavy duty products. Here's what I loved and didn't love using this month:

Pixi Glow Tonic $15 - It's been hard to tear me away from my beloved cranberry toner. However, this Pixi toner gets so many reviews I picked it up in Target while I was in California for Christmas. Long story but didn't get to start using it until this month and I have been enjoying it. It's a little pricey for a drugstore toner imo but if you like a deeper cleaner then I'd recommend it. I also have sensitive skin and didn't experience any irritation.

e.l.f. High Definition Undereye Setting Powder $3 - Reviewed earlier this month. Definitely a repurchase for me when I run out, which is soon since I've been using it every day.

Josie Maran's Argan Daily Moisturizer SPF 47 $32 - SPF is very important to your daily beauty ritual. Unfortunately most moisturizers don't have high enough SPF (you want at least 30) so I was excited when this Josie Maran moisturizer had SPF 47. It goes on very thick so I sometimes blend it with another lotion so it will absorb quicker into the skin (i.e. when I sleep in late).

StriVectin Multi-Action Restorative Cream $95 - I've been using this product all month and wanted to wait until I was nearly finished to give my full thoughts. It is "formulated with Pro-12 Youth Optimizing Complex™ to initiate a cascade of revitalizing effects in skin, addressing the 12 visible signs of aging." Love it! It left my skin feeling youthful and supple.
Maybelline Dream Velvet™ Soft Matte Hydrating Foundation $10 - I was pretty disappointed by this foundation. It never settles into the skin so to me looks like a little weird. Almost making pores bigger. I also couldn't find the best way to apply - beautyblender, another makeup sponge, fingers. Nothing seemed to make it settle better on the skin.

What products did you enjoy or not enjoy this month?
