My February Beauty Product Favorites (And Not So Favorite)

This month we had a mix of freezing (literally negative degrees) and rainy spring weather. I needed facial scrubs, I needed extra moisture and I needed a hair routine for my new 'do. Here's what I loved and didn't love this month:

Pacifica Glow Baby Youthful Face Scrub $14 - Reviewed this earlier this month.

ARROW PROTECT Aluminum-Free Deodorant $9 - It is really hard to find a decent aluminum-free "safe" option for deodorant. I was excited to try this new ARROW line from Birchbox. Thankfully this one worked out! Hopefully they can make some other scents in the future.

benefit dandelion shy beam liquid highlighter $26 - This is the "matte" version of their best-selling High Beam highlighter. Yes! One reason I shied away from highlighters or illuminizers is because I tend to prefer a matte look. I don't want to be shiny. So this perfectly solved my problem and I felt like the shade matched my skin wonderfully. I will be terribly sad when my little sample runs out.

Lady Gaga Eau de Gaga Parfume $30 - I mentioned earlier this year that I was loving Lady Gaga's unisex perfume. I've been using it more consistently this month so I finally included it in my favorites round-up.
Mystic Divine Luminous Shine Smoothing Shampoo & Conditioner $9 - Not sure I've put these in my reviews yet. I really did try to give it a chance since they are sulfate free, infused with amazing oils that typically do good for your hair and are cheap. However, they did nothing for my hair and in fact the shampoo weighed my hair down. After making it through about half way in the bottles, I had to finally toss it. Sticking with my trusty Davines.

Shiseido® IBUKI Eye Correcting Cream $40 - This eye cream promises to "diminish the appearance of dark circles, puffiness and fine lines caused by dryness. Eyes become instantly more vibrant." It is a perfectly fine under eye cream if you're not looking to decrease fine lines. It does keep the eye area moisturized and kept my skin "vibrant." However, the anti-aging benefits weren't there for me so I have to put it on this list (especially for the price). Perhaps if you're a beginner to eye cream this is one to try but not when you're looking to reduce fine lines/prevent signs of aging.

The Body Shop Hemp on a Rope Soap $12 - You may have seen on Snapchat me unboxing some hemp beauty items from The Body Shop. The smell is just too strong and not my style for me to wash myself with this. Plus it's a little ridiculous that it's the shape of a hemp plant lol. But I appreciate them trying to be more green with their products.

What products did you love this month?
