Vegan Beauty Reviews: Pacifica & ARROW

Sharing some reviews of vegan-friendly beauty products that I've tried this month. One is from Birchbox, ARROW, and one is from a brand that I've been a fan of, Pacifica. Definitely excited to "green" my beauty routine more.
I received their Cheek Tint in my Birchbox this month. I decided to try the other shade "Pink Punch," which is more appropriate for my skintone.

ARROW PROTECT Aluminum-Free Deodorant $9 - Birchbox created a vegan-friendly beauty brand so I was naturally curious especially for this deodorant. "This odor-busting deodorant from Birchbox brand ARROW is formulated without aluminum or alcohol (a.k.a. those common not-so-nice deodorant ingredients), so it won’t clog pores and is perfect for all skin types. The bright citrus scent neutralizes odors and features notes of pink grapefruit, mint leaf, ginger flower, and sea spray." I was definitely impressed. It did hold up! The smell is not quite my favorite but it's better than BO. Will definitely repurchase.

ARROW BOOST Color Enhancing Lip Balm $14 - "Formulated to adjust to your unique pH, it enhances each wearer’s natural lip color to create the perfect, just-for-you hue. Nourishing ingredients like mango seed butter hydrate and protect lips, and the lightweight, subtle formulation allows it to go wherever you go." Definitely turns into a light pink shade. I wouldn't pay $14 for a lip balm though... I guess because of the science behind it.
As you may have seen on Snapchat, I got a box of a variety of goodies from Pacifica. I'm already a fan of their makeup wipes (which smell amazing btw!) so was excited to try a few more of their goodies.

Pore Refine Deep Detox Mask $18 - "Get seemingly poreless skin with this modern formula utilizing precious ancient, medicinal ingredients including konjac root, strawberry and tomato that come together to help fight dilated, clogged pores, excess sebum oils, bacteria, and toxins without over-drying the skin." It comes out like a jelly substance and you can leave on for 5-20 minutes. I've got a few uses out of this sample size. Unfortunately, I didn't see any real results.

Vital Immersion Deep Hydration Mask $18 - "Supercharge your night with this creamy mask to help naturally quench thirsty, stressed, sun damaged skin and bring back the supple, dewy appearance of youth. Essential lipids, antioxidants and clinically studied natural extracts help revive and re-hydrate." I wore this overnight for extra moisture, which my skin desperately needs in this weather. It was decent but I get more results with Julep's Night Shift mask.

Glow Baby Youthful Face Scrub $14 - "Get glowing with our dual action face scrub with flax, rose hip and walnut. Remove debris, toxins, and impurities and help diminish the signs of aging by polishing away dead skin." I really liked the gentle scrub. It wasn't too harsh for my sensitive skin and I definitely noticed my skin was refreshed after I used it. Would potentially repurchase.
