Beauty Reviews: Pür, Rimmel, benefit & L'Oréal

Beauty Haul Reviews: PUR, L'Oreal, benefit, Rimmel
I'm back with some beauty reviews for ya. Some are from a recent Sephora beauty haul as well as others that have been patiently waiting for me to review. Here are my thoughts:

Pür HydraFluid Water Serum Foundation $39 - You may have seen the unboxing of this on Snapchat. "PÜR’s encapsulated water complex delivers Swiss Alps-sourced water to hydrate the skin for lasting radiance while providing silky, medium coverage. HydraFluid water serum foundation is incomparably lightweight yet offers the perfect amount of coverage and satisfies the desire for dewy, breathable, luminous looking skin. This is the chosen foundation to create “bare-looking” but perfect complexion whatever your skin tone or type." I used Light (the lightest shade) which looked dark in the bottle but blended to match my skin tone better. It is definitely light coverage so I feel like this will be in the summer when you don't want a heavy foundation. I really liked it and the staying power was pretty good.

Wearing both the PUR foundation & highlighter
L'Oréal True Match Lumi Liquid Glow Illuminator in Ice $12 - "L’Oréal Paris introduces its first liquid highlighter specifically crafted to highlight key features or illuminate all-over. Ice Illuminator enhances pink or blue tones in cool skin tones." I'm on a highlighter fix lately so this caught my eye. I liked that the packaging shows you where you can put the highlighter. It says it can be mixed in with your foundation but I prefer to put it around my eye area/cheekbones. I really liked it! I'm already a fan of L'Oreal Studio Secrets Professional Magic Lumi Highlighter but I use that more as a concealer. This one is gorgeous too but I'd keep it as a highlighter.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25hr Foundation with Comfort Serum in Classic Ivory $7.99 - "A full coverage, long-lasting, hydrating foundation that reveals naturally immaculate skin with a lightweight feel. Blending smoothly and evenly, it hides fine lines and imperfections for a poreless, seamless complexion. Containing a comfort serum, the foundation instantly hydrates your skin while maintaining full coverage that won’t let you down all day and night. Built-in sunscreen protects your face, while a moisturizing base and a healthy dose of antioxidants and Vitamin E keep skin perfectly hydrated and healthy." That's a big promise but I have to say it delivered! I've never tried a Rimmel foundation but I was pretty impressed. It did a great job evening my skintone and giving me a nice finish. It did feel drying on my skin though. Perhaps I can mix it with a lotion to help it stay moisturizing.

Rimmel Brow This Way Eyebrow Gel $5.99 - "This lightweight brow gel defines brows all day. Gel texture with a hint of tint for groomed eyebrows." I love me a bold brow so I'm down to try any brow product. I really liked it more than Maybelline's brow mascara (which I'm trying to finish up). I'd definitely opt for the dark brunette if I repurchase.

Wearing both Rimmel products & benefit highlighter

benefit Dandelion Shy Beam Matte Highlighter $26 - I got a sample of this in my recent Sephora haul. It is the "matte" version of benefit's classic High Beam highlighter. I LOVE IT! Obsessed. All the words. I think it's great for my skin tone. I like the matte version.

Have you tried these products yet? What are your thoughts?
