In: Purple lips. Out: Red lips. I haven't worn a red lip all winter season. Shocking! I tend to love red lips in the fall/winter. Instead I've been opting for purple hues especially Julep's It's Whipped in Pucker Up or a rosy nude (close to my natural lip shade).
In: Metallic sneakers. Out: Leather slip-ons. Don't get me wrong I love my leather slip-ons but the fashion girls have worn them out to me. Every morning getting on the elevator with the Tory Burch girls *le sigh* lol I recently purchased these Ted Gibson silver sneakers to jazz up my winter wardrobe.
In: Unisex perfumes. Out: Floral fragrances. Depending on what perfume gets you hooked, that tends to be what you stick with. I think we all started with Juicy Couture lol so that led me down very floral, fruity smells. However, I've turned a corner in my perfume selection as I've picked up a few unisex or musky scents. I received Lady Gaga's Eau de Gaga parfume for my birthday (which is supposedly "unisex") and I'm loving it. It's described as being "built around a beautiful heart of white violet, an intoxicating flower that fuses male and female attractions. To counterbalance this opulent woody-floral intensity, the scent opens with an invigorating burst of sparkling lime that exudes dynamic vibrancy. And it evolves into a sensual trail based on leather, adding a primal quality to the scent."
