Having fair skin has it's pros and cons. One downside is that highlighters can either be too dark or make you look paler. Highlighters on the lighter scale can be straight up white, which you don't want. POPSUGAR rounded up their picks for best highlighters for pale skin and gave me some ideas for ones I need to try. Some I had already tried. Here are my picks for best highlighters for pale skin:
RMS Beauty Living Luminizer $38 - This is always on the beauty lists and has been on my "to try" list forever. It's MAD expensive so it's taken me awhile to convince myself to invest in it. Now I'm glad I did! I'm a fan of their "un"cover up. It also doesn't crease around the eye area like some creamy makeup products so that's a plus. I use it more in the corner of my eyes and under my brows vs on the cheekbones since it's on the white side. It's great to pair with your concealer.
L'Oreal Studio Secrets Professional Magic Lumi Highlighter in Fair $12.95 - Can't beat it for $12 (usually cheaper at stores). This is a staple in my every day makeup routine so you'll often see it in my beauty empties. It's a highlighter/concealer in one and I can usually get away with it as a concealer. (Note: I didn't wear it with the makeup looks featured so you could really see the highlighters but typically I'm wearing this Lumi highlighter).
Clinique Chubby Stick™ Sculpting Highlight $22 - Newly launched! I got a sample size in my Sephora VIB 500 point perk. I'm a Chubby Stick fan so I'm glad they're expanding the range. This also only comes in one shade "Hefty Highlighter." It's on the pinker side so I kept it to the cheekbone area. You may recall this look from my Julep Maven box with my taupe lips.
Stila's All Over Liquid Shimmer in Kitten. I used to use this all the time until they stopped making the shade I liked (forget the name but it was a light pink). Kitten looks similar so I'll have to pick this up.
Benefit Cosmetics High Beam Liquid Face Highlighter. I KNOW, I know... I'm slacking. Another one that is constantly on the favorites list.
