First impressions are everything but sometimes they don't go well. Perhaps you were in a bad mood when you tried the product or our skin wasn't on it's best behavior. Some products are worth revisiting so here's a round-up of beauty products I've given a second chance over my beauty blogging career:1. beautyblender® makeup sponge - Much like my journey with dry shampoo, I guess it took finding the right one to understand the joy of this sponge. I tried TWO pink (original) ones and just couldn't get it blend right. Then I received one in my GLOSSYBOX almost 2 years ago and I've never looked back! It's what I use every day and the sponge has lasted all this time. I am a convert and now preach to everyone lol.
2. Maybelline Lash Sensational™ Mascara - I reviewed this mascara a few months ago and guess I got a bad one because it flaked and dried up on me very quickly. Most of you told me to give it another try so I repurchased and I am definitely having better luck this time around. Still not my favorite Maybelline mascara but a great option if you're looking for a daytime look.
3. Julep Rock Star Hand Crème - Julep released a lot of beauty products very quickly and I think it showed in the quality. The first try with this hand cream it was thin and sticky (gross!). Thankfully they've been upgrading the formula of some best sellers including this product. I re-ordered it recently and now it's my go-to before going to bed.
4. Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo Cream Eyeshadow - They do dry up quickly but it's a great dupe for MAC's Pro Longwear Paint Pot. I wish they offered more natural looking every day colors but I typically use "Bad to the Bronze."
