It seems year after year October becomes that uncertain month. It can be 70 degrees one day and 40 and rainy another day. This has really messed up my beauty routine (and my closet!). Since I get bombarded with products (#beautybloggerproblems) I've been trying my best to finish old products before trying new ones so this post you may see some products that I shared on Instagram
Peter Thomas Roth Anti-Aging Cleansing Gel $38 - Got in one of my Sephora hauls. "Oil-free, anti-wrinkle technology helps to clarify and brighten with glycolic acid, salicylic acid, extracts of peach, white oak bark, lemon, lime, linden, grapefruit, and arginine. An advanced deep pore resurfacing action supports natural cell turnover to help diminish the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and other signs of aging. It helps to effectively detoxify the pores, dissolve makeup, emulsify oil, and improve skin texture as it gently sweeps away dead skin cells and impurities that can make the complexion appear dull." Definitely helped get a deep clean without irritating my sensitive skin. Not sure about the deep wrinkles and fine lines (as I'd like to think I don't have many lol) but it's a great cleanser with or without the anti-aging benefits.
PÜR Cosmetics Eye Polish Eye Base and Top Coat $26 - I reviewed this earlier in the month. Been part of my daily routine.
Cover FX® Custom Infusion Drops $48 - These drops are genius! They help you customize your beauty routine. There are 4 options. I selected A + Jasmine - Anti-Aging which is "a vitamin-enriched concentrate that hydrates, revives, and refreshes skin." I want to try them all!
StriVectin® Advanced Retinol Pore Refiner $99 - One of the best products I've found to minimize pores. It also helped make my makeup last throughout the day. The downside for me was it not being a two-in-one product so I could eliminate another step in my beauty routine rather than add one. But if you have "older" skin and would like help minimizing pores then I'd recommend this product.
Garnier’s Miracle Ultra-Lift® Eye Cream $16.99 - I shared my first impressions on this product in February, which goes to show you how long it can take a beauty blogger to get around to finishing a product! lol I finally finished this eye cream and have to say that my first impressions didn't change. Pass!
Burt's Bees Honey & Grapeseed Hand Cream $10 - Another empty that I was displeased with. Much prefer my Nivea hand cream tin.
