Art Hearts Fashion #NYFW Recap

Seeing all the gorgeous designs from the big names is great but I also enjoy seeing up and coming designers on display during New York Fashion Week. Art Hearts Fashion showcased 5 designers at the Vanderbilt Hall this season presented by AIDS Healthcare Foundation in association with FTL Moda. With a name like Mister Triple X what else could you expect? The first designer definitely got the party started with leather & metallic sexy pieces with their signature bunny ears.

Tarek Sinno's was definitely a change of pace as the most haute couture of all the collections. Lots of feminine forms with fanciful ornate detailing and jewel tones. Striking lines and intricate jeweling showcased the detailed craftsmanship of the designer. Could definitely see some of these on a red carpet.

Zachary/Nathaniel was next to the runway presenting an inspired collection of dark hues, plunging necklines and lots of use of leather. It definitely had the '90s/grunge vibe going on which is a big trend right now.

Gregorio Sanchez's designs popped off the runway with bold colors and prints. You can see the influence of his local country, Mexico, in the prints. With hints of mod in the black and white. Loved the ballerina-inspired shoes and the high-low draped tops. Also loved his "Donal Sucks" shirt lol.

Cary Santiago closed the evening with lots of drama. The cinematic designs are impeccably crafted demonstrating Santiago's ingenious artistry. I loved the faces in the lace pieces and that last piece. What a show stopper!
