Birthday Sephora Haul + Reviews

I pretty much asked everyone for a Sephora gift card for my birthday and thankfully ended up with THREE! I had a long list growing and took full advantage. I've been going through a breakout so it's been taking me awhile to review all the products I purchased. Wanted to try them a few times before posting a review. Let's run through these, shall we?

Korres Pomegranate Toner $22 - Ran out of my beloved Arcona toner so thought I'd give this a try. Used it during my breakout and thankfully it was helpful. "Pomegranate extract, rich in tannins and polyphenols, helps tighten pores and rejuvenate the look of skin. Alpine willowherb and witch hazel extract help refine the appearance of pores and provide a matte look to the skin." So far so good with this one!

You may have noticed the spray top missing well that's because I dropped it and it broke off. I poured into a mini spray bottle.

Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist $24 - Ran out of my Liz Earle mist so thought I'd try this after seeing lots of praise. "With its rich infusion of rose and marshmallow living energy, this formula provides the skin with balancing, moisturizing refreshment." Definitely a luxury item but I'm loving it thus far. The true test will come in the winter when my skin is desperate for moisture.

COVER FX Custom Cover Drops in N50 $44 - I heard good things so added on a deluxe sample to my order. Unfortunately, it was too dark so I passed it along.

You can even see the bottle is stained! They say wash hands after use but I still had some parts that wouldn't come out

Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo For Brunettes $22 - It is definitely hard to find a dry shampoo for brunettes. I needed a new dry shampoo and I love the smell of Dry Bar products so thought I'd give this a try. It is brown so when I spray it and rubbed it in my hair my hands would be stained. It's a shame because it does a good job soaking up the oils and giving volume. I just hate the brown coloring.

Origins Checks and Balances™ Frothy Face Wash $22 - Added on a sample in my box. Shared a mini review in my beauty empties. I only got one wash out of it so didn't see any spectacular results.

GLAMGLOW YOUTHCLEANSE™ Daily Exfoliating Cleanser $39 - Another add-on sample. I've had my doubts about GLAMGLOW in the past especially since their products are so pricey but this product really impressed me even with ONE try. I will say that I didn't see a lot of foaming once you add water like I did with the Origins one though.

Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black Rollerball $25 - A VIB add-on. I love this fragrance but the full sized is so expensive so was super excited to see this deluxe sample as a perk.

What new beauty products have you tried recently?
