My Sephora Haul + Reviews

When my tax refund came in I immediately headed to Sephora(.com). I had 500 points to use so I cashed them in. Thought I'd share my reviews of some of the items in case you were considering of picking them up. So here we go...

Clinique Repairwear Sculpting Night Cream - "This luxurious cream-gel helps define the appearance of facial contours along the cheeks and jawline, and smooth and firm the look of the entire neck and chest. The richly moisturizing formula creates luminosity and improves skin’s texture." I like Clinique products so was curious to try this. It's nice and thick so it keeps my skin moisturized overnight. I'll have to finish it to give the full results since it's only been a few days. So far so good.

MAKE UP FOR EVER Step 1 Skin Equalizer $36 - "A makeup primer that assists with balancing the skin's texture and tone for smoother, more even, and longer-lasting makeup wear." I've always been curious about this primer as I have rosy cheeks and always try to find ways to reduce the redness. It help reduce the redness... but minimally. It also didn't make my makeup last longer so there's not much benefit. I wouldn't spend $36.

NEST Indigo Eau de Parfum - "Moroccan tea, Kashmir wood, and black cardamom are enhanced with hints of wild fig and bergamot." I love the smell! It's a great fragrance for spring. Very lively but not overwhelming.

Formula X The Technicolor Silks in Groovy $12.50 - I don't know why I keep buying this polish. None of them have impressed me.

Sephora Collection Eye Masks ($5 per set) - "Each of these masks is infused with a different active ingredient for relaxing the delicate skin around the eyes and achieving a brighter, more revitalized eye look. The fiber masks perfectly hug the small contours under the eye for better penetration of the active ingredients." I tried:
- Pearl Eye Mask: Evens out the eye contour, minimizes irregularities, and illuminates the skin for eyes that appear more uniform, radiant, and fresh.
- Pomegranate Eye Mask: Reduces signs of fatigue, awakens, and tones the eye for a rested, energetic look.
You only get one set for $5 so it feels a bit wasteful. I did like the two I tried but not sure I'd repurchase.

JINsoon Nail Lacquer in Doux $18 - I've been wanting to try one of these polishes. This gorgeous pale pink caught my eye as a great spring pastel. So gorgeous!

  1. I hate that England has no Sephora. I must try that clinique cream. I have clinique cleanser and eye cream and I swear by them both. I'm also really loving Smashbox Primer at the moment.

  6. @Sherin that's unbelievable! Yes, Clinique is a pretty great brand :) I too love Smashbox's primer. I've been enjoying Hourglass's primer though because it has SPF
