My April Beauty Product Favorites (And Not So Favorite)

This month has been a tricky one here in New York City. One weekend it's 70 degrees and I'm eating ice cream. The next it's snowing! Usually Spring is the time to put away your winter essentials and get out the self tanner. But not this spring. So this month's favorites include a mix of products that you could use in warm or cold weather.

Pacifica's Underarm Deodorant Wipes $9 - If you're looking for a natural deodorant option, I highly recommend this one.

Jouer Tint in Petal $22 - I received a sample in my Birchbox this month and have been using it every day since. I mostly use it as a lip stain but it's creamy so could work for cheeks.

NEST Indigo Eau de Parfum (1.7 oz $68) - Received a sample in my Sephora beauty haul. Also, been wearing every day since. It mixes well with your natural scents when applying it to your skin. It's a great spring scent!
Dove Refresh+Care Invigorating Dry Shampoo $5 - Not sure why I keep trying drugstore dry shampoos. I should just stick with Suave.

Julep Lock Down Your Brows Brow Gel $22 - I received this in my Julep Maven box this month, which was all about the brows. It promises to help encourage hair growth and after using it this month I haven't seen any results.

Clinique Repairwear Sculpting Night Cream $65 - Another product from my Sephora haul. I gave my initial thoughts but now that I've finished it, I didn't visibly lift my skin so wouldn't spend $65.

What products did you enjoy using this month?

  1. OOO i like that the tint has a multipurpose...Have you used Million Dollar Brows? I use their Clear Eyebrow Gel it's my favorite gel, it doesn't promote hair growth but they do have Brow Boost Enhancing Serum.

  3. @heather yes i have. Also didn't notice anything spectacular. Although I did like their highlighter/concealer duo pencil :)

I think you have to give these things like 3 months. I've tried a Latisse-like thing and saw some results in a few weeks but too much effort for not much results lol

  4. @Alex curious to see your opinions about Dove's dry shampoo. I seriously need to stop trying other drugstore brands lol Suave is the only one that works!
