My April Julep Maven Box

This month's Julep Maven box theme was Paradise. I selected the Modern Beauty box because I wanted to try the new eyebrow product. You know I'm all about the eyebrows. Here's what was inside:

Don’t Leave Your Brows at Home – Warm Brown $24
Lock Down Your Brows $22
- Add-ons: 2 polishes
- Extra: Gobstoppers

Step 1: "Don’t Leave Your Brows at Home is an all-in-one tool that includes an angled precision brush and a tinted formula that glides on like a gel but dries to a long-lasting, natural-looking powder, and holds hair like a wax." I have an eyeliner like this. I didn't see that it dried like a powder. I'm still getting used to it... I still prefer my powder.

Step 2: "Lock Down Your Brows is a clear setting gel that shapes, tames, and defines with a flexible, natural hold—no stiffness, crunchiness, or flaking. It also conditions your brows, prevents breakage, and encourages healthy regrowth in sparse, over-plucked areas. The formula features our nourishing Power Cell Complex™ and the same keratin-boosting peptides found in our beloved Mighty Nail & Cuticle Serum." Not much formula comes out on this tiny brush. Not sure you even need this step. We'll see if it helps grow my brows out.

April, a very fitting color for this month, is a reddish coral.

Drew, is back from the Vault (like a Disney movie....), is a bright fuchsia. I loved both colors!

What did you receive in your Julep Maven box this month?

  3. I loved the bright colors this month! I like the brow powder. It's surprisingly a good color match for me, which I've had trouble finding in the past. I don't see much happening with my brow gel though.

  4. @Christina yeah they were good colors. I liked both the ones I picked. Yeah I'm not seeing anything with the gel either :/ Going to keep using it until it's finished.
