Review: Garnier Ultra-Lift® Miracle Sleeping & Eye Cream

Sleeping beauty products seem to be a big trend. First was Julep's Night Shift Sleeping Mask and now there's Garnier's new anti-age and anti-fatigue night and eye cream. "Infused with Lavender Oil, Hyaluronic and Hydroxy Acids, it erases signs of fatigue and fights wrinkles while you sleep. With an innovative texture that combines the power of a mask with the lightness of a cream, Miracle Sleeping Cream is helping you look well-rested, even after those late nights." Here are my thoughts:

Garnier’s Miracle Ultra-Lift® Sleeping Cream ($16.99 1.7oz) "combines the hydrating and recharging power of a mask with the light refreshing feel of a cream. Boosts skin's cell renewal to regenerate skin's surface layer, helping to repair skin's moisture barrier and reduce wrinkles." It is definitely super lightweight. I wasn't sure if it would hold up keeping my skin moisturized overnight because it was so thin so I first layered it with a serum. That didn't go well. In the morning it would be flaking off my skin. So I tried it without and it did keep my skin moisturized but didn't notice that my skin looked "more awake and refreshed."

Garnier’s Miracle Ultra-Lift® Eye Cream ($16.99 .5 fl oz) "an innovative gel cream combines the hydrating power of a cream with the light refreshing feel of a gel to visibly reduce signs of dark circles, bags, and tired looking eyes." I liked the light texture of this eye cream. I struggle with dark circles and didn't see any improvements within a week. I'll finish using the products but I would spend the $16 on either one of the products.
