TEADORA Rainforest At Dawn Nourishing Lip Butter (5 oz $15) I received this in my holiday GLOSSYBOX and it claims: "Packed with antioxidant and vitamin-rich Buriti, Brazil Nut, Andoriba, Maracujá (Passion Fruit), Açaí oils, Cupuaçu, Murumuru, Mango butters plus Carnaúba Wax, our Rainforest at Dawn Lip Butter comes in a delicious citrusy flavor we call Laranja - which means orange in Portuguese - and provides light exfoliation and intense hydration for your lips." It definitely has that tropical smell which I liked. Not a lot of product comes out which took some getting used to. I'm used to slapping on a lot. What they call "light exfoliation" felt more like leftover residue to me. I do like that part of their sales goes towards restoring rain forests.
Nuxe Rêve de Miel® 20th Anniversary Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm (.52 oz $19) A best seller that is made "with honey and precious oils is highly concentrated in ingredients that nourish, repair, soothe and protect even the driest and most chapped lips. Thanks to its unique texture and subtle taste of refreshing grapefruit..." I wasn't a fan of the smell or texture. It was grainy to me and left a lot of residue on my lips. Kind of surprised me that this is such a huge seller. Perhaps someone can explain to me the appeal.
Final verdict: Teadora slightly edges out because it supports charity. It is also a cheaper price for more product. Neither one impressed me much and I wasn't a fan of the residue on my lips.
