My November Birchbox

The theme of this month's Birchbox is Giving (of course). "November isn't just about pumpkin pie and holiday shopping... It's also about giving back. This month we're partnering with (RED) to raise money and awareness for the global fight against AIDS." Loved the concept and the packaging was also cute! Here's what I received:

"Cleanse away aging dullness and boost radiance with this skin-brightening, pH balanced facial cleanser. Formulated with our own Intensive Skin Brightening Complex containing Madonna Lily Plant Stem Cells, Bearberry, Niacinamide, Green Tea and C-Ester, this natural, pH balanced formula leaves skin clean, healthy and glowing." I like that it's cruelty free but didn't notice any spectacular results. It does 4 weeks for results so I'll report back once I finish the bottle.

"Fully restore the skin’s radiance and fortify the complexion. rich in sterolins, vitamins b1, b2, c, d and e to plump and lift the skin. The lush potency of whole rose essential oil concentrate delivers a rush of rejuvenating moisture that is ideal for all skin types, including sensitive." Would not spend $86 on it. Wasn't blown away and wasn't a fan of the smell.

"Juice Beauty’s bestselling, patented GREEN APPLE™ Peel exfoliates and refines to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and lighten hyperpigmentation. Delivers spa grade exfoliation revealing a brighter complexion while firming the skin." Birchbox let you pick a sample to add to your box this month. I opted for this Juice Beauty item because I love their products and there wasn't much else to select from lol. I enjoyed this peel. It did tingle my sensitive skin a bit but didn't leave me red.

theBalm always has fun names for their products. "An all-in-one essential, this smart shadow, beautiful blush and subtle highlighter is tucked inside a go-anywhere compact. The light-reflecting peachy pink hue adds a splash of color to your cheeks and a hint of shimmer to your lids, while illuminating your finest features." I like this multi-purpose shimmer. Been using it as an eyeshadow and highlighter.

What did you receive in your Birchbox?
