My August Beauty Product Favorites (And Not So Favorite)

I'm back this month with a round up of my favorite (and not so favorite) products! Honestly, last month I didn't have enough products to round up. But I've been busy testing products and have some to report on this month:

Neutrogena® Rapid Wrinkle Repair® Night Moisturizer $20.99 -shared my review earlier about this line. Love the way it makes my skin feel.

Sonia Kashuk® Purple Seductia Body Lotion $8.99 - I picked this up on a whim in Target when I needed body lotion at my parent's house. It smells amazing! It's super thick and moisturizing. I'll definitely need to get more for the winter.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Sin $20 - I know I'm a little late on this one. In a recent Sephora purchase I received a 4 pack sample of Urban Decay's signature eyeshadow primer potion. The one that I particularly liked the most and ran out of immediately was Sin. It's a "shimmering champagne" that is the perfect every day shadow for your lids.

(MALIN + GOETZ) mojito lip balm $12 - Received in my July GLOSSYBOX. Ran out quickly and traded some nail polish for another one.

GlamGlow youthmud™ tinglexfoliate treatment $69 - Another July GLOSSYBOX goodie.
Julep Bare Body Milk $24 - I like the smell of the Bare body products but this lotion did nothing for me.

RéVive Intensité Volumizing Eye Serum $600 - Received this in my Bergdorf x GLOSSYBOX and almost died when I saw the price tag. Since it cost so much I figured it must perform miracles, right? I used it until the very last drop and have to say I saw no results. None more so then ones I've seen with drugstore brands.

What products did you enjoy this month?

  1. wait hold the phone. that eye serum is $600!! Um for that price it better either a. be made of gold or b. jump onto my face itself. I mean...what?! Anyway I have been wanting to try the Urban Decay eye shadow primer but have been sticking to my trusty Too Faced eye shadow primer. Maybe I'll make a switch up when I have to buy a new one.

  2. I've tried a lot of eyeshadow primers in my day and UD definitely have the best ones. No comparison!

  6. @heather YES!! lol exactly. For $600 it should do something which is why I used it to the bitter end and NOTHING. Not sure what Too Faced's looks like but UD has a variety so I use one AS eyeshadow lol it stays on :)
