KAUFMANFRANCO Fall/Winter 2014 Runway Show

Thanks to Laura of Blush & Beakers for covering for me!

I was fortunate to fill in for Kimberlee last minute when she couldn’t attend the KAUFMANFRANCO F/W 2014 Collection show due to school obligations. Normally, my fashion sense tends to lean more towards a lot of color: the brighter the better. After viewing the KAUFMANFRANCO collection I saw the beauty in a more muted color palette, where the focus was not on prints or colors in the collection but the structure and cut of the clothing.

From the runway we saw gorgeous structured skirts with sophisticated slits, gorgeous statement coats, and beautifully fitted gowns and dresses. All of this sophistication definitely makes me want to rethink my wardrobe and add more grown-woman pieces such as the ones KAUFMANFRANCO offered. Another plus of the show is spotting Kelly Rowland of Destiny’s Child in the front row.

Final walk:

What did you think of the collection?

  1. I attended Ottawa Fashion week and loved seeing all the new cuts and styles.
