My January GLOSSYBOX

My January GLOSSYBOXwas all about having the best skincare and makeup to the start the year off right. "After the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, slow down and relax with an invigorating body wash. Try a new method of applying makeup and skincare..." Here's what I received:

"Our uplifting super toning body wash has been designed to improve skin tone, soften, smooth and encourage good circulation thanks to the unique blend of natural active ingredients found in juniper, bergamot, geranium and lavender." I didn't notice any spectacular results after using this body wash. Right now with the Polar Vortex, I've been using my Dove body wash to keep my skin moisturized.

"With mineral-rich Vichy Thermal Water and Activ Hyaluronine™ to help strengthen the natural protective function of the skin and soothe sensations of discomfort." I have sensitive skin and really enjoyed using this moisturizer. However, I do wish it was a little better at sealing in moisture as I mentioned with this brutal winter my skin is in desperate need. I wouldn't be able to use this product solo in my nightly routine.

This mineral blush powder claims to "createa a soft, radiant glow that's ideal for all skin types... with its sheer, translucent and skin-hugging effect of the mica mineral, your natural skin tone shines through when you use our mineral blush powder." I thought the color was a little too dark for my skin tone. Plus, I have naturally rosy cheeks so I don't often wear blush.

The beautyblender sponge & cleanser were worth the cost of the box alone. I've had trouble using this type of makeup sponge and prefer wedges. But as long as beautyblender keeps sending them my way... I'll keep trying!

What did you receive in your GLOSSYBOX this month?

Disclosure: I received a free box for review. All opinions expressed are my own.

  1. Woohoo beauty blenders! I can't get enough. I just picked up another one after you sent me one last year- I want to try the black one especially! I have never had a staining issue with the pink ones, just wash thoroughly and they're perfect :D
