My September Birchbox

This month Birchbox celebrated their 3 year anniversary so the theme was "Heritage." "Every brand we work with, from the just-hatched to the iconic, has its own fascinating history." It featured crowd-sourced colors from RUFFIAN. I already reviewed their Classics collection not knowing they were going to be in our September boxes. Here's what I received:

amika Blow Up Spray (2 fl oz/8 fl oz $24) | CAUDAL√ćE Make-up Remover Cleansing Water (1 fl oz/13 oz $32) | Coastal Scents Eye Shadow | RUFFIAN Nail Lacquer in Hedge Fund (full size $10) | Egyptian Magic All-Purpose Skin Cream (full size $26)

"For the ultimate blow out, this ultra-lightweight mist, derived from rice, is formulated to add volume and shape without buildup. Use before blow drying to get extra texture and lift while providing a weightless layer of heat protection. Use on dry hair as a re-styling spray or for light hold. The Obliphica berry repairs split ends, strengthens and nourishes hair for a shiny, smooth finish." It's free of parabens and artificial colors. I don't usually blow out my hair so I sprayed it on my damp hair before letting it air dry overnight. I liked the results. I've liked other products from them I've tried in my Birchbox.

This cleansing water was so gentle and soft! It is hypo-allergenic so if you have soft skin I'd recommend it. If I have to find one bad thing I would say I wasn't particularly a fan of the smell which includes orange and lemon blossom, watermelon and mint leaves.

This nail polish color is not particularly my favorite. If anyone wants to swap, let me know!

What did you get in your Birchbox this month?
