Brand Review: DermOrganic

DermOrganic believes in the power of Argan Oil where in Morocco the Argan tree is called green gold. DermOrganic's Argain Oil is cold pressed from the fruit of the tree, which is rich in omega-6, antioxidants and vitamin E that helps create a protective barrier between your hair and damaging forces affecting your hair (heat, sun and aging). Their products are vegan friendly, cruelty free, sulfate, paraben and propylene glycol free and contain no sodium chloride, salt, or artificial preservatives. Here are my thoughts on the products I tried:

Daily Conditioning Shampoo - Is "sulfate-free enriched with omega-6, panthenol, rice keratin and antioxidants." Usually I don't like sulfate free shampoos because they don't seem to rinse out as well (perhaps it's the lack of lathering) but this shampoo definitely had a bit of lather to it and made my hair feel clean after rinsing out.

Intensive Hair Repair Masque - "Made with Certified Argan Oil, it is enriched with rice keratin, amino acids, omega-6, antioxidants and essential lipids." I liked the texture of the product, it felt heavy enough to repair my dry hair but lightweight enough to rinse right out. However, my hair felt greasy on the bottom which weighed it down. Perhaps I needed to rinse it out more or maybe it was too intensive of a hair masque for my hair.

Leave-In Treatment - "Helps restore moisture balance, speeds drying time up to 30% and is enriched with omega-6, antioxidants and vitamin E." It has a different smell then other argan oil products I've tried. It's not bad, just different. It was also a lot lighter than other products with argan oil, which most have weighed my hair down before. I put it in my hair after washing and let dry overnight. In the morning, my hair was super soft and shiny.

I wouldn't use all the products together in my hair since it weighed it down. My hair doesn't like a lot of products. I did enjoy the Leave-In Treatment separately though.
