My July Julep Maven Box

This month's box was inspired by the California Coast and featured 2 new beauty products: Sea Salt Texture Spray and Dry Body Oil. I wasn't too impressed with the color selection as I found most repetitive to colors I already have so I went with the Modern Beauty box. Here's what was inside:

- Sea Salt Texture Spray (3.9 fl oz $22)
- Beach Tonic Dry Body Oil (3.5 fl oz $23)
- 1 Nail Vernis ($14)
- Extra: Green Tea Facial Blotting Papers (not yet available)
I was interested in trying the Sea Salt Texture Spray to see if I could achieve the perfect beach waves. According to Julep "This paraben-free spray uses sea salt water infused with a combination of marine botanicals that provide intense moisture and essential nourishment. It protects hair from sun damage, adds texture, and creates ocean-kissed, tousled waves allowing for weightless volume." I used it the typical way I do for beach waves and the results were great. It made my hair nice and wavy.
I was excited about this body oil since I just ran out of mine. It's described as "a blend of lightweight yet nourishing oils that moisturize, condition, and restore elasticity and suppleness to the body. Absorbs instantly and leaves a satin finish without a greasy residue. Treatment mist contains a blend of cotton seed oil, rich in cell nourishing vitamin E, and sunflower oil- for deep conditioning and softening of even the driest skin." It definitely has a summer smell and is quickly absorbed into the skin.
A pleasant surprise were these exclusive green tea facial blotting papers that are made with real green tea so smell like green tea. "These natural linen blotting papers absorb oil and shine without removing makeup." I'll keep you updated when I put them to the test!

I also added on Cassie a sheer coral polish because I can never have enough coral colors! It is definitely  sheer so you have to build up the color. I think it's a great color for manicures and pedicures.

I know I gave Julep I hard time about their DD Cream but I am really pleased with this month's box.

What did you get in your Julep Maven box this month?
