Fitness Magazine's Blogger Meet & Tweet Event Recap

I had such a wonderful last time at the Fitness Magazine's Meet 'n Tweet event that I was super excited to be invited back. I wore my Ellie leggings, Looksupply Zuni Top and my new running shoes from Zappos (the boys section). I had a great time hearing the speakers share their tips for healthy eating and living. I especially loved Rocco Dispirito talking about how you can eat Italian food and still lose weight. That's my kind of diet!

I know you want to know what was inside the goodie bag. I tried to capture all of them in the photo but here's a breakdown:

In no particular order: Sparkly Soul Headband | Athleta Pilayo® Zippy Headband | Julep Billie Jean | stila stay all day waterproof liquid eye liner | blow pro blow out spray | Three Jane Hair Elastic Bangle | Alex & Isabelle Hair Ties | Knoshbox with Wonder Drink and Granola Bar | Votivo candles in Pink Mimosa and Breath of Lavender | Get Unreal Candy Coates Chocolates With Peanuts and Peanut Butter Cup | Sugarfina Dark Chocolate Gogi Berries | id America Cushi Flower iPhone 5 foam case | Chef Sleeve Disposable iPad Sleeves | Goody Quickstyle Absorbent Mircrofiber Paddle Brush | Rebook Yoga Pocket Tank & Women's SubLite Training Sneakers | S.W. Basics Set of 4 Organic Beeswax Lip Balms | Vichy CelluDestock Intensive Treatment for the Appearance of Cellulite & Capital Soleil SPF 50 Lightweight Foaming Lotion | Seacony Women's Kinvara 4 Running Shoes | KIND Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt granola bar & KIND Vanilla Blueberry Clusters with Flax Seeds | blisslabs™ nutricosmetics total bliss give me strength hair + nail boosting bites & blisslabs™ nutricosmetics fatgirlcleanse™ two-day detox | 21 Drops 09. Focus & Concentration

Knoshbox had the cutest little card included in their box. The Kombucha Wonder Drink of Green Tea & Lemon was not my taste but the Nate's Orchard Bar was quite delicious.

These candles smelled wonderful! Votivo says to try the Pink Mimosa for a pre-workout boost while Breath of Lavender is a calming, soothing post-workout experience. Pink Mimosa has top notes of mandarin and strawberry, middle notes of gardenia, honeysuckle and mimos as well as base notes of vanilla rum, sandalwood and musk. Breath of Lavender has top notes of ozone water, middle notes of florence lavender and base notes of amber, tonka and musk.

These candies were actually fairly delicious than peanut M&Ms. They kind of reminded me of dinosaur eggs. I'm also a huge Reese's pieces fan so I was interested to try the side by side. But I have to say Reese's won. Score: 1-1!

Rebook's yoga line is super cute - I loved this tank that we received. It says "Who Made The Rules." It's super soft and comfy so a great option for yoga or lounging.

I've shared my love of S.W. Basics on the blog so I was excited to try more products from them. This set includes 4 lip balms made only with organic cocoa butter, organic beeswax and organic coconut & essential oils. The flavors include: Peppermint, Cocoa, Citrus, and Cinnamon. I'm a big lip product addict so I'll definitely be putting these to use!
I was intrigued by 21 Drops essential oil therapy I received - 09 Focus. "Stimulates your brain and clarifies your thinking, keeping you on point." It is made with rosemary, peppermint and frankincense to clear and strengthen the mind and promote concentration. You apply the roll on to your temples as well as the sides and back of your neck. As the name suggests, they have 21 versions each with a specific purpose. Some help you travel others help you fight off a cold. Each .27 fl oz bottle retails for $29 and are available online or at your Sephora store.

The KIND granola bar was good but a little hard to bite into. The Vanilla Clusters were yummy with the hint of blueberries. Could make for a great cereal or granola mix on-the-go.

These bite-sized pomegranate-blueberry-flavored supplements help maintain healthy, durable hair and nails with a unique blend of strand-strengthening, finger-fortifying nutrients. They're super yummy and it's hard to only eat one a day! I still haven't tried the 2 day detox so I'll keep you posted. I'll probably have to do it after Memorial Day weekend in Jersey (where I always eat too much).

Thank you to all the sponsors who helped make this event possible including Athleta, Camelbak, Crystal Light, Ford's Fiesta Movement, Marmot (donate to their Crowdrise page!), Reebok, Saucony, Smart Balance, Tonalin and Vichy. I hope to see you at the next event!
