My March Beauty Product Favorites

Spring was supposed to officially kick off last week but Mother Nature doesn't want to give up winter. New York has had snow, rain, sleet, clouds, gray skies. Bring on the sunshine! One area that has felt some spring in it's step (see what I did there?) is my beauty routine. My skin usually makes it's transition into more lightweight products as the temperatures get warmer. Here are the products I loved using this month:

L'Oreal Studio Secrets Professional Magic Lumi Highlighter $8 - See review here.

L'Oreal Colour Riche® Lipcolour $8 - This is a hydrating lips color that lasts me all day. "In addition to nourishing ingredients like Omega 3 and Vitamin E, the formula is enriched with Argan Oil to condition and soften lips. Your lips are kept soft, smooth, and ultra-hydrated." It's available in 42 shades so everyone is bound to find the perfect match.I purchased Rose Taffeta which matches my lip's natural color so it's a great look for every day.

Clinique Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes $16 - See quick review here.

Buxom® Sculpted Lash Mascara $19 - I received this mascara in my March POPSUGAR Must Have box. I love the S shape brush and use it to separate my lashes before layering it with Maybelline Falsies for a dramatic evening look.

bareMinerals Active Cell Renewal Night Serum $50 - I received a sample of this while purchasing some products at Sephora. I think it's a nice alternative to some of the more pricey serums out there. According to their site: "Our intensive night serum helps restore your skin's ability to reach its ideal renewal state. Powered by our proprietary ActiveSoil Complex–combined with a unique moisture boost technology–this formula maximizes cellular renewal and hydrates skin overnight." My skin definitely felt moisturized overnight and it didn't pull like some anti-aging serums can do.

Clinique Rinse-off Eye Makeup Solvent $18 - I'm usually petrified of eye makeup removers as I've had bad experiences. I've stuck to my baby oil for several years because I know it won't sting my eyes. When my mom picked me up some Clinique goodies she included this eye makeup remover. It's described as an "unique formula quickly removes all eye makeup, from lashes to brows. Perfect for quick makeup changes, touchups, repairs. Cleans eye area easily without disturbing other makeup. Oil-free, blur-free, sting-free. Ophthalmologist Tested." It is very gentle and does a serious job taking off non-waterproof mascara.

Not Your Mother's She's A Tease Volumizing Spray $5.99 - I received a sample of this product in my February Beauty Army Kit and have been loving it. It doesn't make your hair crunchy like most other "strong hold" hairsprays. Mine was infused with apple blossom so it smells yummy.

Avalon Organics Bath & Shower Gel $11 - While helping my cousin find more eco-friendly beauty products (and with the help of Jamillah) I saw this brand at the store. We're obsessed with the scent lavender and I needed a new bubble bath so decided to give it a try. "Lavender Essential Oil, Wheat Protein, Aloe and non-drying gentle botanical cleansers purify and restore even extra-dry skin." It is made with 70% of organic ingredients and 100% recycled bottle. It was gentle on my skin and I definitely look forward to my lavender bubble baths.

J.R. Watkins Body Oil Mist $8.99 - Also, picked up this in Target in the "all natural" section of the beauty aisle. My skin has been having issues with this never ending winter. It is constantly dry so I'm always looking for ways to keep the moisture in. Enter body mists! This spray blends natural oils and vitamin E to provide long-lasting moisture. I spray it on my skin right after the shower then let my skin absorb. Then I follow with a hydrating lotion. I purchased coconut milk and honey which makes my skin smell delicious all day.

What beauty products have you been loving this month?

P.S. Would it be helpful if I also shared products that I didn't like each month as well? Sound off below!
