My Winter Survival GLOSSYBOX Curated by The Man Repeller

GLOSSYBOX teamed up with The Man Repeller to bring us her favorite winter beauty products. "We've put together a few tips to help you power through the chilly winter months and some helpful hints for the products inside your Winter Survival Kit." Now I personally don't care about The Man Repeller but there were some pretty cool products included this month and I liked the packaging.

Here's what's inside:

Living proof. prime style extender (1 fl oz/ 5 oz $20) | Fresh Umbrian Clay Mattifying Serum (.17 oz/ 1 fl oz $35) | Le Métier de Beauté Replenishing Daily Solution (.10 oz/ 1.7 oz $225) | narciso rodriguez for her eau de toilette (.03 fl oz/ 1.6 oz $77) | OPI's Mariah Carey Collection Liquid Sand "Can't Let Go" Nail Polish ($8) | Estée Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara in Extreme Black (.1 oz/full size $25) | Vincent Longo SPF 15 Lip Stain Lipstick in Americana (full size $23)

Umbrian Clay Mattifying Serum is a treatment formula for normal to oily skin that tones and hydrates while minimizing the appearance of pores and controlling shine. It is also proven to provide 24-hour antioxidant protection. It contains a ginger root pore-refining complex that helps to control oil production, minimizing the look of pores and meadowsweet extract, which is known to control oil and shine. I don't have particularly oily skin so not sure about all the claims. I enjoyed the product but it definitely had a strong smell. I also wouldn't spend $35 on just 1 fl oz unless it was a miracle in a jar.

This fragrance is described as a harmony that "develops gently and slowly, rounding out into the warm tones of sunkissed skin, dusted in a soft, velvety sensuality." It contains notes of: Honey Flower, Solar Musk, Orange Blossom, Osmanthus, Amberlyn, Vanilla, Tactile Musk, Tactile Woods, Vetiver. The style listed on the Sephora website describe this fragrance perfectly "Warm. Sensual. Feminine." I never wore such a sensual fragrance before. I think it contained just enough floral/sweet scents I like not to turn me off. I felt like a sexy woman wearing this perfume!

The emollient formula conditions and hydrates while it nourishes, rejuvenates and detoxifies skin. Syntoc Actif+ Moisture Rich Complexe is a synergistic combination of natural moisturizing factors and skin protectants, helping to reduce dehydration and render skin supple, smooth and more flexible. It contains Vitamin E, Aloe, Sodium PCA and Sodium Hyaluronate which offer skin deep hydration and softening. Centella Asiatica and Echinacea help to firm skin. Squalane, Shea Butter, Avocado, Hazelnut and Jojoba oils are all rich in vitamins. With SPF 30, Replenishing Daily Solution protects skin against UV rays, environmental stresses and sun damage. I was pretty surprised that it was pink! I loved that the directions said "décolletage"... so fancy. I enjoyed this product and definitely see older women using it to keep their skin youthful looking.

This weightless hairstyling primer protects and extends the life of your style. It detangles, perfects, and corrects cuticle texture to reduce the need to touch up. It also keeps your hair cleaner longer, reducing the need to shampoo as often. It says to add as generously as you want but I should have learned not to since my hair gets easily weighed down by products. My hair was nice and soft but definitely looked greasy the next morning. Maybe next time I give it a try, I'll have Jennifer Aniston hair!

I'm not a fan of the liquid sand look for nails so wasn't too thrilled to get this polish. It's a pretty color with a lot of dimensions. Maybe I can find a super shiny top coat to give more of the look I prefer on my nails. Have you tried any of these polishes from the Mariah Carey collection yet? What are your thoughts?
Well that's a mouthful! This product had a lot of claims but quite frankly I was not very impressed. It also wasn't waterproof and had that perfume smell that irritates my eyes. It also made it difficult to take off. This was a miss for me as well.

Apparently this lipstick is award winning. Don't kill me... but never heard of the brand before. Supposedly the light weight texture clings to your lips to prevent the color from bleeding over the lip line and creates a soft, natural finish. It contains Aloe Vera and Vitamin E to soften and nourish lip tissue and has SPF 15 to protect your lips from the sun. I really liked the color! It wasn't a drying lipstick but not sure about it softening or nourishing my lips. It's a great red lipstick to have in my arsenal.

What did you receive in your GLOSSYBOX this month?
