Weekend Recap: Nothing Too Exciting

Friday: I finally got my butt over to ClosetDash's Shop to swap some items. If you live in New York, I definitely recommend stopping by as you get more bang for a buck than at Buffalo Exchange. I got this oversized sheer button-up blouse that I can't wait to wear during Fashion Week. There was also finally some snowfall in the city and I was elated! The only time 3 degree temperatures are bearable are when snow is falling. It's so beautiful. Unfortunately in the city, they shovel and plow it almost immediately so there's barely any left by the morning.

Saturday: It was laundry/cleaning day. Then at night I watched Butter on Netflix starring Jennifer Garner, Olivia Wilde and Ty Burrell (Phil Dunphy from Modern Family). It was funny but nothing that blew me away.

Sunday: I hit up the local Whole Foods that finally opened in my neighborhood this past summer. One of the beauties of New York is that you can go shop anywhere and have it delivered. I was shopping for items to make vegan recipes I am trying out. If you follow me on Instagram then you already saw my delicious banana bread.

And today marks the first day of classes for grad school!

What did you do this weekend?

  1. Agreed- it should only be this cold if there's going to be pretty snow falling from the sky! Also, hope you have a great first day of school :)

  2. That banana bread looks so delicious.

Have a great first day at grad school too.

  3. GOOD LUCK WITH GRAD SCHOOL! So exciting!!

I'm wearing a top just like yours, but mine is green. Great taste ;) And speaking of taste...I want some banana bread!

Thanks for linking up with us :)

  4. YAY Kimberlee! Good luck with Grad School!! That's awesome! :)

    xo, Sam

  5. Ohhh good luck! We are still going to celebrate! Probably after fashion week? And when it is not snowing?

  6. I love snow too, but not in the amounts that we had this weekend - I was shoveling snow for hours! Love that red blouse!

    1. Aw jealous! In NYC we don't need to shovel since they come around pretty often but bums me out since it gets dirty :/

  7. Whole Foods is my SAVING GRACE. I'm Vegan and Gluten-Free and can find anything I need there!

    1. Ooo you'll have to share some recipes with me!

We all have opinions... I want to hear yours!
