My January Beauty Army Kit

January marked the one year anniversary of Beauty Army so they offered us an extra sample. If you don't know, Beauty Army is a monthly subscription like many of the others except that you complete a beauty profile to reveal 9 personalized products then you can select up to 6. You can skip each month (like I did last month) if you don't want the samples. And they also have discounted pricing for members. Here's what I selected:

Grand Central Beauty S.M.A.R.T. Skin Perfecting Mask sample (full size $75) | mark. Glow Baby Glow Lip Gloss in Blow Kisses (.12 oz $6.50) | Karuna Renewal Eye Mask (set of 2 sample/ set of 4 $36) | Yes to Blueberries Age Refresh Eye Firming Treatment (.1 fl oz/.5 oz $19.99) | GG Gatsby Raise Volume Conditioner (.5 fl oz/ full size $14) | Ruddy Water Blushed Fragrance Pouch (box of 24 $22) | Bonus: mark. Scanda-lash Mascara in Blacklash (.12 oz $6.50)

I've tried Karuna products in the past with other beauty boxes and loved them. These eye masks are made of biodegradable wood pulp natural cloth that retains 50% more moisture than synthetic material.  They help fight the signs of eye aging with moisturizing antioxidant mushroom extract, red seaweed and Japanese angelica, decrease the look of puffy eyes and discoloration with microcirculation boosters like sweet broom extract as well as improve firmness and tone around the eye area with peptides. I really enjoyed these eye masks. They made my skin fabulous afterwards and I was able to run the excess formula around my eyes.

I always enjoy the Yes to products as they're natural and paraben free. This eye firming treatment is formulated with paracress flower to reduce fine lines, anti-oxident rich blueberries and skin-softening beeswax. This product was very gentle on my skin. I'm not sure about the "fine lines" since I used it once. I'll keep you posted after I've had a chance to try it a few more times.
mark.'s glow baby glow lip gloss is a super shiny gloss that can be layered over lipstick or worn alone. Blow Kisses is a rich red color that I loved. It was bold enough to wear alone and lasted a long time. I quite enjoyed it.

This mascara lengthens, thickens and defines lashes without clumping. It's hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive eyes which I have. I tend to opt for waterproof mascaras because my eyes are so sensitive to mascara. I wasn't impressed with the mascara although it had a small wand which made it difficult to apply. It was definitely thick but didn't feel like it thickened or lengthened my lashes.

I was so excited that Grand Central Beauty's SMART Skin Perfecting Mask was one of my samples because I'm such a fan. This mask can do it all and is a great tool to have in your beauty kit!

Another item I've tried before in another box. I loved these scented sheets! I can throw them in my underwear drawer or dirty laundry basket to keep things smelling beautifully.

This lightweight conditioner uses orange flower and papaya extracts to hydrate and increase fullness for soft, shiny, manageable hair. Raspberry seed oil and sunflower seed extract offer natural UV protection to prevent color fading.. I didn't get a chance to review this conditioner as I'm still rocking my rag curls. Update: I enjoyed the conditioner, was on the thin side but still moisturized my hair. But I wouldn't say it was very volumizing.

What did you get in your Beauty Army kit this month?
