My December GLOSSYBOX

I thought last month was the holiday GLOSSYBOX but apparently not. I loved the festive tissue paper and red ribbon. They said "this luxurious, varied collection of favorites is your secret arsenal to keeping it glamorous, glitzy and glossy this holiday party season." Here's what I got:

They changed their product card to a more festive foldout.

Forest Essentials Bath & Shower Oil in Madurai Jasmine & Mogra (3.38 fl oz/ 6.8 oz $22) | Heartland Fragrances White Tea Epsom Bath Salts (5.5 oz/30 oz $10) | mark. Lipclick Luxe Lipstick in m.powerment petal (full size $12) | Zoya's Ziv (full size $8) | Wella Velvet Amplifier (.05 oz sample/1.9 oz $16) | Pleats Please by Issey Miyake Eau de Toilette sample (3.2 oz $92) | Extra: JewelMint surprise!

All Forest Essentials shower oils include completely pure, naturally distilled essential oils that leave your skin supple, silky smooth and beautifully hydrated. I enjoyed using this product as it left my skin hydrated and soft but the smell is SO strong. I wish it was less fragrant so I don't have to smell on me days later.

I was very intrigued by this bath salt as I love taking baths; however, I have super sensitive skin so I can't bath with anything highly fragrant. So I'll probably be passing this on. But how cute are their duck soaps?

This lipstick is a pretty rose color. It's a limited edition so I wasn't able to find it on the site. It's a very hydrating and creamy lipstick but it has a perfumey smell that I wasn't fond of. I like the color... not the smell.

This perfume exclusively partnered with GLOSSYBOX for their US launch. It's described as "a luminous, joyful, floral bouquet whose addictive base notes combine the sweetness of vanilla layered over vibrant woody notes. A distinctive fragrance with palpable, enveloping femininity." It was a bit stronger than floral fragrances I like. I could definitely smell the woody notes so I'll probably mix this with another perfume.

So excited for a full sized Zoya polish! Ziv is from their Ornate Holiday Collection and is described as a "yellow-toned metallic gold foil with silver highlights and warm gold flake glitter accents." It definitely was more of a yellow gold as compared to Essie's Good as Gold, but still pretty.

My surprise from JewelMint was this aztec-inspired looking ring. It's not particularly my style. I've also tried JewelMint in the past and wasn't that impressed with the quality plus it took FOREVER to cancel my account. They charged my card 3 months in a row (I didn't receive any items) before it stopped. Not a pleasant experience.

What did you get in your GLOSSYBOX this month?

  4. Fun! I got a Denise Richards spray instead of the oil, I'd prefer the oil though. I'm passing on the lipstick for sure. I like your polish color. I got "Electra." My Jewelmint piece was SO FUGLY I have to give it away.
