Gold Tips for #Tinseltown

Last night I headed out to a Refinery29 event with Nicole of StyleMe BAD and Laura of Blush and Beakers in SoHo. But before heading there we grabbed some dinner at Toby's Public House to have a mini celebration of my NYU acceptance.

We toasted!
Make a wish!
And they even gave me a free s'more with a candle to celebrate. Very sweet waiter!

At the event there were several retailers selling items for the holidays. It was definitely a Refinery29 crowd (i.e. hipster) and I even saw Angela and Claudia from Bravo's Gallery Girls. I felt pretty cool that I was invited to an event that reality stars were attending (is that bad?)

We picked up some free samples from the GLOSSYBOX station: Denise Richards Volume Extended Voluming Crème, Oscar Blandi's Texture & Volume Spray, and a Cult Nails polish.

They had InstaPrint stations where you could print out your Instagram photos.

Got lots of compliments on my MyTee BAD studded TEEband, which I love - thank you Nicole!

But onto the nails... I decided to try the "new" French manicure that was all over the runways:

I used OPI's Samoan Sand and Essie's Good as Gold

What's on your nails this week?
