Review: Aussie Miraculously Smooth Shampoo & Conditioner

I received Aussie's Miraculously Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner in my PG Beauty Klout perk. "Seriously silky smooth for wildly frizzy manes" says their website. The collection is infused with Australian botanicals, adds moisture to rough manes-without weighing them down-for sleek, silky, well-styled locks. During the winter, my hair dries out and tends to be more frizzy than usual. I like to use Aussie's 3-Minute Miracle to give it a quick moisture boost. I was excited to try these products since I am an Aussie fan already. Both cost around $4 for a 13.5 fl oz bottle.

The shampoo contains silk protein, jojoba oil and jasmine. It helps control frizz so that unruly or rebellious hair behaves better and offers better styling with ease. It promotes manageability of hair and keeps your hair smelling beautiful.

The conditioner also contains silk proteins, jojoba oil and jasmine so it smells great. I have medium to fine hair so most conditioners that promise "smooth" or "glossy" affects can weigh my hair down. But this conditioner was light weight. It did a fairly good job. Any frizz I had, I was able to slick down with my beloved Dove Nourishing Ends.

The final result: silky, smooth hair I want to pet all day!

Would I buy it again? Yes! I definitely liked how my hair felt (and smelled!) and it didn't weigh my hair down like most smoothing or glossing conditioners do.

Have you tried this product? What are your thoughts?

  1. Good to know! I have oily fine hair and it can get uber frizzy if i dont use product. I would love to try but wanted to know if it would be okay to use on oil prone scalps.

    1. Hmm not sure, it says all hair types. It's definitely lightweight so won't weigh your hair down with more oils.

  2. I use 3-minute Miracle too. I love the smell. It reminds me of junior high when I used (way too much) hairspray.
