Mani of the Week: Color Blocking Nails

Very rarely do I ever just stick to one nail color on my nails. However, I was getting a little bored with the accent nail trend so wanted a new way to show off more than one color on my nails. Enter color blocking. This manicure is so easy to do and I love the results!

First I started with butter LONDON's "Yummy Mummy" and then used Essie's "Glamour Purse" to do some color blocking. I like the color combo and felt the colors offset each other nicely. I did them by hand but you could use tape to help guide you for a straighter line if you wish.

Also, have you seen the new Sally Hansen 2012 Holiday Salon Effects collection? I'm loving Holi-Daze!

What are you wearing on your nails this week?

  1. Love the colorblocked nails. I like that you used two colors that are similar so it has a subtle effect. OOO no I haven't seen the holiday Sally Hansen effects WANT!
