Watermelon Nails... Two Years Later

One of my favorite manicures of all time were the watermelon nails I did in summer of 2010. When I received my Bodyography nail polish via I-ELLA's The List, I thought it was a perfect watermelon pink. Then the idea hit me to create watermelon nails but make it easier on myself this time! In 2010, there were many steps with tape to separate all the colors on each nail.

For 2012, I decided to paint every other color with Bodygraphy's Brisbane and Julep's Courtney.

Which version do you like better?

I've received quite a few nail goodies this past week so I thought I'd swatch them for you:

Deborah Lippmann's "Private Dancer" from my Sample Society box this month.

I received one of Essie's luxeffects polishes thanks to Klout. "Stroke of Brilliance" is a gorgeous blue glitter polish. I swatched it on top of my Julep Harley color it looks very sci-fi.
