New Favorite Beauty Brand: Grand Central Beauty

I'm slowly working through all the great beauty brands I met at HBA this year. Grand Central Beauty was founded by Jackie Lee who has years of experience in the industry. However, she always wanted to create her own skincare line so she used her knowledge to create GCB. I unfortunately wasn't able to snag a sample at HBA but she kindly followed up with me and mailed me one of her famous S.M.A.R.T. Skin Perfecting Masks to try.

SMART stands for Smooths. Moisturizers. Anti-Aging. Redness Reducing. Tones. It has been clinically tested to live up to it's promise to improve skin's texture, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and leaves your skin with a healthy glow.

You have to play beauty doctor and stir up a little concoction:
Step 1: Add mask powder to bowl; Step 2: Fill powder container with water and add to bowl; Step 3: Add 1 vial of Intensive Booster and stir.
Once you've create your little pink goo, add it to your face and don't be afraid to layer. Let dry for 15 minutes.

I haven't had this fun with a mask since Elizabeth Grant's Collage Face Pad. The mask became sort of rubbery and reminded me of those masks actors wear to transform for a role. I kind of felt like Mrs. Doubtfire...

In all seriousness, this mask truly lives up to it's claims (rare to find!). For $75 you get a mini makeover for your face in 15 minutes and results lasting 24 hours. Although my skin still feels amazing after using several days ago.

Have you heard of Grand Central Beauty? Would you give them a try?

This looks really interesting! A powder mask? Maybe if I can find something a bit in my price range, definitely have to try it out!
