Review: Cristophe Professional Glossing Shampoo & Conditioner

It has been in the 90's here in New York this week! Summer has officially arrived and that means you need to start thinking about your hair. The warm summer months can be pretty brutal on your hair. UV rays can change the texture of your hair along with free-radicals. Argan oil is one of the beauty industry's favorite not-so-secret secret for great hair. It penetrates deep into the hair's cuticles and pores to hydrate and restore elasticity, smoothing unmanageable hair. It is rich in Vitamin E to help repair damage caused by styling tools, color, and free-radicals. Monoi oil have been used by Polynesian women to replenish and moisturize their hair after it was stripped by the salt of the sea. It is a mixture of Tiare petals and coconut oil.
Cristophe Professional Glossing Shampoo and Conditioner combines Argan and Monoi oils to soften hair and protect strands from styling damage and breakage. It is a lightweight formula that smoothes the cuticle for glossy, shiny hair. The bottles looked like creamsicles!
I really enjoyed using these products! My hair felt soft and healthy which it hasn't feel in awhile. I was able to wear it down because it stayed smooth and didn't knot up easily like it typically does (my straight hair people can relate). It also smelled really good which is probably from the delicious smelling oils.

I have to say nice touch to the company for including a personalized hand-written note!

P.S. You can score the Glossing Shampoo, Conditioner and Volumizing Spray Tonic for $15 (60% off retail) on Cristophe.com from now until July 20, 2012 12pm PST. Don't miss out!

Do you switch your shampoo in the summer? What's your favorite?

Disclosure: I was sent these products to try. There was no agreement that I would post about the products. All opinions are my own.

  1. Oooh those products sound good!

I don't necessarily switch up products during the summer but I do wash more often between all the swimming, sweat, and the sun that can just fry my hair. I shampoo once a week but use conditioner mid week so my hair gets clean but moisturized at the same time.
