Review: Suave's Scalp Solutions Shampoo & Conditioner

Did you know that over 70% of people at some point in their life have dandruff and it's a constant problem for 10-20% of people between the ages of 18 and 40 years. According to Mayo Clinic, the causes of dandruff are: dry skin, irritated/oily skin, not shampooing often enough, as well as skin issues like Psoriasis and Eczema. I always thought the white flakes meant that you didn't wash the shampoo out of your hair enough. My scalp has been feeling dry lately so I was interested to give Suave Scalp Solutions a try. Suave Scalp Solutions is clinically proven to relieve the symptoms of dandruff and smell great!

Now when I think of dandruff shampoo, I think of the ugly Selson blue bottle that has a medical odor. Not with Suave! They come in sleek bottles and delicious scents. I received Nourishing Coconut & Shea Butter.

I love the coconut smell. Both the shampoo and conditioner were rich and creamy. I definitely enjoyed using these products but still need to use an argan oil in my hair to prevent it from drying out.

Have you tried a dandruff shampoo before?

Disclosure: Sauve sent me these products to try. There was no agreement that I would post about the products. All opinions are my own.

  1. I've had an issue with dry scalp for years, and I have no idea of how many different shampoos and conditioners I've tried! Most of them were really expensive, too. After a lot of trial and error, I've found that what works best is - Head & Shoulders! The one for dry scalps, that is. Works wonders, and my hair looks and feels nice and fresh as well. So much for expensive salon shampoos....The Suave brand doesn't exist in Norway, too bad because I know I'd love the smell of coconuts!
