Nail Art Inspired By Home Decor

Source: stylemepretty.com via Mollie on Pinterest

While browsing my latest addiction, Pinterest, I came across this table setting. I really liked the contract of the teal blue with black and thought it would make for a good nail design.

I started with e.l.f.'s "Mint Cream" as my teal base color.

Then used these nail art brushes that my loving sister so kindly got me for Christmas.

I had a little trouble doing the swirl with the brushes so I switched to my nail art pen.

Then for a touch of sparkle like the glasses and candles, I glued on a rhinestone.

What do you think? What inspires your nail art?

google

*Sidenote: Good thing I snapped these pictures because after I went out in the rain, almost all of the black nail design washed off!
