Mani of the Week: Thanksgiving Inspiration

Inspiration

I was looking for some nail art inspiration for Thanksgiving and came across these fall leaf nails. Now I didn't use paint brushes so my leaves aren't as detailed but I think they are festive.

What I used:

Step 1: Start with a nude nail. I chose OPI's "Samoan Sand"

Step 2: Since I don't have a brown nail shade (need to get on that!) I opted for China Glaze's "Swing Baby" as the tip. I loved the glitter effect. You may remember it from my Fall Manicure. I loved the look just like this but ventured onto the leaves...

Step 3: Draw leaves. I used LA Colors yellow nail art pen, Cina's red nail art pen, and OPI's "In My Back Pocket" as the orange.

Step 4: I also decided to throw in a little shatter polish. I used Nails Inc Gold Glitter Crackle Effect.

Voila!

What are you wearing on your nails for Thanksgiving?

  1. That's cute. I can't handle anything more than plain polish, since I am not very coordinated.
