Visual FBFF: Rockabilly Inspired Outfit

This week's Visual FBFF is hosted by Shelly of GS Lillian and she wanted to see a look inspired by our favorite decade. I was SO excited (can't you tell?) because I love 50's fashion, especially the Rockabilly/pin-up look. I did my best to pay homage. I cuffed up my jeans, rolled up my white tshirt, rocked the red lips and cat eye.

What I wore:
- American Apparel pain white tee
- Gap black vest (so old!)
- Ann Taylor Loft jeggings
- Open-toed black heels from Naturalizer (also very old)
- Red skull bandana worn as wrist cuff

I did a quick pompadour but it fell flat by the time I could take pics.

Trying to show you the cat eye and red lips (but I just look angry lol!)

What decade is your favorite?

Check out the rest of the FBFF outfits here!

  4. Rockabilly is so cool- I love how you pay homage to it with the hankerchief cuff, AND the cat eye liner and red lipstick.

My favorite decade is the 1960's, the mod '60's. I'll never tire of it.

  7. Fabulous rockabilly style. I love 50s fashion, probably because it generally works well with my body type.
