Nail Art Tutorial: Kiwi Nails

Inspiration

For this upcoming Labor Day weekend, my family is having a big get together. You know I love an excuse to try a fun new manicure. I decided to try kiwi nails! I used a cheap green nail polish that I purchased for St. Patrick's Day.

Step 1: Apply two coats of your green nail color.

Step 2: Draw an oval shape in the white nail polish. I also added hashes around it to make it look more like the pit.

Voila!

Step 3: Place black dots (a.k.a the seeds) around the oval. (They're not cleaned up). I liked this nail art design because you can do freehand and it won't look sloppy.

Items used:

- N.Y.C. "Big Money Frost 118A"
- Color Club's nail art lacquer in white
- Sally Hansen's nail art pen black

Here is a YouTube tutorial that inspired me from Cute Polish (she has a lot of inspiration!):

Where have you found nail art inspiration?
