Nail Art Tutorial: Cherries!

During our last visual FBFF post, I was inspired by Style Eyes Fashion Blog to do cherry nails. I think it's a great summer manicure. Here's my tutorial:

Step 1: Start with a nude base color. You can choose a different color. I went with OPI's "Samoan Sand," which is the perfect nude color (in my opinion). I was very tempted to leave them as is because it was the perfect mannequin looking nails!

Step 2: Apply two dots in the red color so that they connect. I just used the tip of the brush, you could get more specific with details using a nail art pen.

Step 3: Use your green color (pen or precision brush) to draw the stems.

Step 4: Voila! You can be more creative but I liked minimal cherries.

Items used:
- O.P.I's "Samoan Sand"
- China Glaze's "Hey Sailor"
- Milani Nail Art precision brush in "Green Sketch"
And Sally Hansen top coat

Will you give this manicure a try?

  2. Oh my gosh these are adorable!

  3. I totally suck at DIYs especially painting my nails lol. You did such a great job though on the lil cherries you've got on.
