2 Events, 2 Target Dresses, 1 Day

Photo taken by Janique of Her Goody Bag

Last week I had two events to go to and got complimented on both Target dresses I wore. Felt pretty proud of myself (lol!) because they were probably no more than $30 yet they made a statement.

The first one was a floral print dress I wore to Bob Mackie's Art show. They invited bloggers from the NYC Fashion Blogger Meetup group to a special viewing of his pieces. He's a legend! Pictures to come.

The second dress was the chambray dress I wore for July 4th. I wore it for the book launch of "Fashion 2.0: Blogging Your Way to The Front Row" at the Sky Room. It was a gorgeous roof top bar. I mingled with some familiar faces like Amy of Midtown Girl, Pavan of Open Source Fashion, Jordanna of Touch of Pink PR, Laura of LOL Beauty, and Pam of Cinderella's Closet. Can't wait to read Yuli's book!

What store do you find great dresses at?

  1. I love the floral print on your dress. I tend to buy vintage or charity shop dresses at the moment. Otherwise I love Oasis, a UK store.

  2. Your make up looked exquisite for the book launch! It's not too much or too little just perfect :)

  3. @Style Eyes- I need to do more vintage shopping!

    @Phoebe- Aw thank you :)

  4. Ooo, the dresses look fab. I love it when affordable dresses get compliments. I love the print of the first dress. And your make up in the second picture looks amazing. Definitely agree on the comment above about it looking exquisite.

  5. What a great pic of you at the book launch! Your makeup does look great!

  6. Do NOT sleep on Target!! I always find something super cute there. You look beautiful!!

  7. You look so pretty dear! Loved your dresses, sounds like it was a wonderful event. -xo
