"Jersey Girls" Book Launch Event

Last night I attended an event for the book release of Jersey Girls: The Fierce and the Fabulous at the Jonathan Adler store. They were serving taffy from Seaside (a favorite) and cotton candy to make you feel like you were at the Jersey Shore. The authors, Marie Moss and Barri Leiner Grant, were there sporting their Jersey pride with "I heart NJ" t-shirts and temporary tattoos. Lots of posh people were there like Robert Verdi and Nate Berkus.

Nate Berkus spoke to me. Okay, what he really said was "Do you need me to get out of the way so you can get a drink" and I smiled said "oh no I'm okay." BUT HE TALKED TO ME! He was super sweet and very adorable.

Apparently I left too early because the "Real Housewives" showed up! I wonder how that was... Anyways, being a Jersey girl myself I really want to get this book and maybe copies for my family!

We also received a fun goody bag:

- I heart NJ pin (which I will sport proudly)
- A coupon for a free Italian ice from Rita's (my dad's favorite), which just opened up at 92nd and Broadway
- Jersey Shore prizes
- Essie nail polish "Big Spender"
- Bobbi Brown's glitter liquid eye liner in Gold

I'm quite excited to play with the nail polish and glitter eye liner.
