3 Tips To Help You Stay Healthy This Summer


I confess that I am not always the best about exercise. I am also fretting "bikini season" but thankfully Weight Watchers e-mailed me some of their tips. I thought I'd pass their wise words along:

Get outside, get moving!
Take advantage of the warm weather by taking your gym routine outdoors. An easy way to do so is train for a race, like the Annual Weight Watchers Walk-It 5K! Check www.weightwatchers.com/walkit for the 5K nearest you!

I definitely need to be better at this. Being a blogger, you sit in front of the computer ALL day!

Clean out kitchen clutter
Make sure your “trigger” foods are out of reach, or keep them out of your pantry. If they’re out of reach or you can’t see them, you’re less likely to gravitate towards them. Now is the best time to stock up on fresh produce, since so many fruits and vegetables are currently in season. Check out www.weightwatchers.com for recipe ideas!

One of the benefits of living alone is that I can control what is kept in my house. I know when I got to visit my parent's, I'm in all the chips and snacks. So bad!

Stay positive!
If you’ve been following your weight loss program as a New Year’s resolution, congratulate yourself for sticking with the program and getting closer to your goal! Reward yourself when you lose the last five pounds with a new dress to remind yourself of all the hard work you’ve put in, or indulge in a massage.

I'm not so great at staying positive but my girl at Style Me B.A.D. is great at it! I love the idea of buying yourself a new dress.

  1. aww youre so cute thanks for the mention! You arent terrible at staying positive from what I see. You've got to rid yourself of "stinkin thinkin". Once you change your mind to be more positive it drastically changes your mental health, which is also important.

    tip: Always try and find the positive in a situation, good or bad. There is always an upside to pretty much everything.

    Also, stop doubting yourself! Once you start believing in your capabilities you start accomplishing more.
